日本橫河YOKOGAWA工業用熱電阻作為測量溫度的傳感器，通常和顯示儀表、記錄儀表和電子調節器配套使用。它可以直接測量各種生產過程中從-200℃～500℃范圍內的液體、蒸汽和氣體介質以及固體的表面溫度。

Model RS and RN Resistance Temperature Sensors （RTSs）
have a platinum resistance element （Pt 100 or 50 ） in a
metal sheath which is joined to a terminal.
The metal sheath has insulating powder （MgO: magnesium
oxide） packed tightly between the sheath and the sensor, so
that the sensor cannot move. The tube is flexible, durable
and mechanically strong, and the sensor’s thermal response
is fast.
The Model RS has compensation leadwires terminated in
crimp-on lugs or metallic connectors. The sensor can be
pipe threads mounted or clamped in place. This type of
sensor is suitable for laboratory use or for use with simple
measuring instruments.
The Model RN RTS has a nipple joined to a terminal box. It
can be flange mounted, using a fixed flange, or pipe threads
mounted.
The terminal box of the Model RN-5 RTS contains a spring
by which the RTS can be installed tightly to the measuring
site.
The operating temperature range depends on the resistance
element; -200 C to +100 C, 0 to +350 C or 0 to
+500 C.
These RTSs conform to JIS standards. RTSs conforming to
IEC or DIN standards are also available to order.
